Description	Material found in the Memorial Art Gallery's scrapbooks related to the Navajo Days at the Memorial Art Gallery, March 28, 1929 or March 27-28, 1930. According to the Gallery's Bulletin, Vol. 2, no. 5, "Three Navajo Indian craftsmen will be encamped at the Gallery on Thursday and Friday, March twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth, when they will receive hundreds of school children of Rochester and perform their generations-old crafts before them...These Navajo craftsmen come from Coolidge, New Mexico, and are being brought by Mr. Burton I. Staples for a visit to a number of eastern museums. " The Gallery's scrapbooks were microfilmed in the late 1980's and disassembled. These pages were scanned from the microfilm, as the originals were not retained.
